On June 6th, LoneRunner Run Club is taking on the Guadalupe Peakโ€” the โ€œhighest point in Texas.โ€ This unforgettable hike will be led by our founder, Emilie, who has conquered this mountain multiple times and is ready to share the beauty, challenge, and reward that Texas has to offer.

Standing at 8,751 feet, Guadalupe Peak is more than just a hike โ€” itโ€™s an experience. Located in Guadalupe Mountains National Park, this 8.4-mile round-trip trail climbs over 3,000 feet in elevation, pushing you through desert terrain into pine forests, all while opening up breathtaking views of the Chihuahuan Desert and beyond.

At the summit, youโ€™ll find the iconic stainless steel pyramid โ€” a symbol of history and perseverance, commemorating the Butterfield Overland Mail route.

> A strenuous but rewarding climb (6โ€“8 hours total)
> Scenic transitions from desert landscapes to forested trails
> Panoramic views that make every step worth it
> A true test of endurance, mindset, and grit
> Travel to Guadalupe Peak in Salt Flat, Tx; entrance of trail.
